Terms of Service

Last updated August 2026. By creating an account or using BeatBox, you agree to these terms.

1. The service

BeatBox is a private music creation platform: Create (AI generation), Library, Studio (Arrange & Layers), DJ, and optional artist shop. Features available to you depend on your plan. We may update the product; material changes to these terms will be reflected on this page with an updated date.

2. Accounts

You must provide accurate registration details and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for activity under your account. We may suspend accounts that abuse the service, violate these terms, or attempt to circumvent plan limits.

3. Plans & pricing

Current street prices (USD, subject to taxes where applicable):

  • Pro — $24/mo or $19/mo billed yearly (~20% off).
  • Producer — $49/mo or $39/mo billed yearly.
  • Studio — $99/mo or $79/mo billed yearly.

A 7-day Pro trialmay be offered without a card; when it ends, library listen & share remain but new generations pause until you subscribe. One-time master unlock is about $14.99 per track (operator-configurable). Optional storage packs bill monthly and stack on plan storage. Optional one-time GPU credit packs (paid plans) add prepaid generation credits used after your daily allowance. Full feature comparison: Pricing.

4. Billing, renewals & cancellation

Paid subscriptions, storage packs, and GPU credit packs are processed by Stripe. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period until cancelled. Cancel or change plans anytime via Profile → Manage billing (Stripe customer portal). After cancellation you keep your library; new generations pause until you resubscribe. Fees already charged for the current period are generally non-refundable except where required by law or stated at checkout. One-time GPU credit pack purchases are generally non-refundable once credits are delivered.

5. Ownership & commercial rights

Your library stays yours to keep when plans change. File downloads and commercial release require a download-capable plan (Pro trial, Pro, Producer, or Studio) or a cleared master on that track. Platform license, shop fees, and upgrade unlocks are described in the Ownership & rights policy, which is part of these terms.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use BeatBox for unlawful content, harassment, or fraud.
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or overload the GPU / API beyond fair use.
  • Resell access, share accounts to evade plan limits, or automate mass generation abusively.
  • Upload or prompt material you do not have rights to use.

7. AI content disclaimer

Outputs are AI-assisted. Copyright protectability varies by jurisdiction. You are responsible for clearing samples, likenesses, and third-party IP in your prompts and releases. See the rights policy for the honest picture on AI copyright.

8. Privacy

How we handle account data and generations is described in our Privacy Policy.

9. Availability & liability

The service is provided “as is.” GPU capacity, third-party APIs, and Stripe may cause downtime or delays. To the fullest extent permitted by law, BeatBox is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, lost profits, or loss of data beyond the amounts you paid us in the three months before the claim. Some jurisdictions do not allow these limits.

10. Contact
