1. What BeatBox is

BeatBox is a private music studio: you create tracks, store them in your library, edit in Studio, play DJ sets, and optionally sell through the shop. Generation runs on a GPU workspace controlled by the operator — not a public shared model that trains on your music by default.

2. Data we process

  • Account: email, username, display name, password hash, avatar, plan/trial status, and credit usage.
  • Library & generations: prompts, lyrics, audio files, stems, album/studio drafts, and share-link settings you create.
  • Billing: Stripe handles card data. We store Stripe customer/subscription IDs and fulfillment status — not full card numbers.
  • Technical: session cookies, basic request logs, and operational metrics needed to run the service.

3. How we use data

We use your data to:

  • Provide Create, Library, Studio, DJ, shop, and billing features.
  • Enforce plan limits, storage, and commercial rights rules.
  • Secure the service and prevent abuse.
  • Communicate about your account, billing, or service changes.

We do not train models on your music without explicit consent. We do not sell your library to third parties. Share links and shop listings are under your control.

4. Sharing

We share data only as needed to operate BeatBox:

  • Stripe — payments, subscriptions, customer portal.
  • GPU / hosting providers — to run generation and store files (e.g. operator-chosen cloud GPU and object storage).
  • People you invite — via share links or shop purchases you enable.
  • When required by law or to protect the service and users.

5. Retention

Account and library data persist while your account exists. Cancelling a paid plan does not delete your catalog — generating pauses until you resubscribe. You may delete tracks or request account deletion through the operator’s support channel. Backups and logs may linger for a limited operational period.

6. Cookies & sessions

BeatBox uses session cookies to keep you signed in. We do not use advertising trackers as part of the core product. Third-party processors (e.g. Stripe Checkout) may set their own cookies on their domains.

7. Your choices

  • Update profile details in Profile.
  • Revoke or expire share links anytime.
  • Manage billing and payment methods via Stripe portal from Profile.
  • Delete tracks from your library; contact support for full account deletion.

8. Children

BeatBox is not directed at children under 13 (or the minimum age in your region). Do not register if you are under that age.
